\nExceptionally fine for extreme cold, this 3-ply yarn is ideal for making sweaters, scarves, and hats. Soft, warm, supple, and delicate, these creations are adorned with a touch of rarity and exoticism. The naturally brown tone of this fiber is unique, and once dyed, reveals warm and deep colors. Choose simple or lightly textured stitches to enhance this exceptional yarn.
\nThis down comes from herds of camels raised by Uyghur and Mongolian nomads in the Gobi Desert, southern Mongolia. The wool of this camelid has surprising thermal properties. It also improves and softens over time. Subjected to extreme temperatures that can range from -50\u00b0C at night in winter to +50\u00b0C during the day in summer, the Gobi camel has a remarkable ability to withstand these extreme climatic conditions. It has developed a down that is among the warmest fibers in the world, yet is still breathable. The small population of this animal species makes Karaburan a rare and precious yarn, on a par with yak down and cashmere.<\/span><\/p>\n
