Cette fibre v\u00e9g\u00e9tale provient des fruits<\/strong> du Kapokier<\/strong>, le Ceiba<\/em> pentandra<\/em> (de la famille des Bombacac\u00e9es), un grand arbre des r\u00e9gions tropicales tr\u00e8s r\u00e9pandu en Am\u00e9rique du Sud, en Afrique et en Asie.\u00a0
<\/span>
Non comestible, ce fruit se pr\u00e9sente sous la forme d’une capsule<\/strong> elliptique, ligneuse et pendante, de 10 \u00e0 30 cm de long. \u00c0 maturit\u00e9, cette cosse s\u2019ouvre par cinq fentes laissant appara\u00eetre un duvet soyeux et cotonneux qui entoure les graines. Aplatie et compress\u00e9e dans la coque, la fibre tr\u00e8s l\u00e9g\u00e8re et \u00e9lastique, de couleur beige, retrouve tout son volume par simple exposition \u00e0 l\u2019air. Elle est parfois appel\u00e9e laine v\u00e9g\u00e9tale.
<\/span>
La fibre de kapok poss\u00e8de des caract\u00e9ristiques \u00e9tonnantes<\/strong>. Elle est \u00e0 la fois souple, douce, gonflante, r\u00e9sistante, hypoallerg\u00e9nique et antibact\u00e9rienne. C\u2019est une mati\u00e8re saine et biod\u00e9gradable, naturellement imperm\u00e9able et imputrescible, avec de grandes propri\u00e9t\u00e9s thermiques.
<\/span>
Un autre atout de la fibre de kapok r\u00e9side dans son cycle de vie naturel<\/strong>. Elle pousse spontan\u00e9ment et son extraction respecte l\u2019environnement, la fibre de kapok est donc un produit innovant avec un impact positif.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
