Williwaw entre dans la catégorie des fils à tricoter Bulky / Chunky. Ses trois brins peu retordus, mélangeant deux fibres d’exception, en font un fil épais particulièrement doux. Il sera l’allié parfait pour des ouvrages d’hiver chauds, moelleux et réconfortants à se concocter au coin du feu. Idéal pour la fabrication de grosses chaussettes ou jambières toutes douces pour les soirées fraîches, ou d’une parure complète composée d’un bonnet, d’un snood douillet et d’une paire de mitaines ou de moufles pour s’emmitoufler avant d’affronter le blizzard. Pour les amateurs de fil bien rond, de belles grosses mailles en jersey ou de torsades sublimes, d’accessoires chics qui prennent forme en un claquement de doigts !

What is a Bulky / chunky yarn?
This type of yarn is one of the big, thick and bulky yarns. It is recommended for quickly making small warm accessories such as a cuddly hat, big snood, huge scarf, mittens, cape, shoulder warmers, etc. or a cozy winter jacket. It is also popular for making decorative accessories for the home such as cushions and throws. Knitting yarn with 5.5mm to 8mm needles or crocheting with 6.5mm to 9mm hooks. A skein contains approximately 100 to 150m per 100g.
Maintenance tips
To care for naturally dyed fibers:
– Wash and rinse your item carefully by hand, separately, in water at 30°C maximum.
– Use an organic vegetable soap or a mild natural detergent, neutral pH. A few drops of organic baby shampoo without soap will also take care of the wool and the color.
The use of soap or detergent with a pH that is too high, vinegar, baking soda, etc. is to be avoided, as this would permanently affect the color.
– Do not wring. Dry flat (to avoid deforming your work) away from direct sunlight.

Informations
Bath
We dye small quantities of yarn at a time. All skeins sold under the same reference come from the same batch. As this is an artisanal work, there may however be slight variations in shades between these skeins.
Each batch is unique, it is impossible to obtain exactly the same shade from one batch to another. Remember to alternate the skeins in your projects and make sure to order enough yarn for your project.
Don't worry
Despite numerous rinses and careful washing in the workshop, some colors (especially the most intense ones) may still slightly stain your hands when making your work or color the water when you care for it. This is simply excess dye, the final result will not be affected. There may also sometimes be a little plant powder stuck to the fibers that will come off on its own.
Colors, photographs and screens
Particular care is taken in the production of photographs to be as close as possible to real colors. But natural colors have rich and subtle tones that computer screens (computers, tablets, smartphones) cannot reproduce. The perception of colors can therefore vary depending on the screen, sometimes creating a slight discrepancy with the real color of the object.
